Facilities

The Institute is located in the centre of Leuven surrounded by historic buildings and pedestrian streets lined with cafés, terraces and restaurants. Everything is easily accessible within a few minutes walk. The Institute is situated in its own grounds with beautiful gardens.

Programmes/Conferences

The Institute has 3 main conference rooms and 2 smaller break out discussion rooms. Coffee, tea and water are available on tap in each of the conference rooms. One of the conference rooms is equipped with booths for simultaneous translation.

Accommodation

There is a total of 55 rooms of which one third are single, one third twin and one third are duplex i.e. they have a mezzanine level and can accommodate 3 or 4. All rooms have a bathroom en-suite with shower and w/c. Laundry, towels, soap etc are provided. All rooms have telephones with direct dialling facilities, message recording and wake up call.

Coin operated laundry facilities are also available.

Catering

The Institute can provide for all meals from a buffet style continental breakfast, through to lunch consisting of an extensive cold buffet and a daily "hot pot" with a choice of dessert or fresh fruit.

A vegetarian menu is always available.

Wine, beer or soft drinks are available on request.

In addition to the main dining room there is a private suite for special events - banquets, dinner speakers etc. and here there is a wide range of menus available

The “Nod Bar” on the 1st floor is open daily from 18.00 until approx. 23.30. It provides an opportunity for relaxed discussion and is regularly the venue for informal music and song. The Nod also acts as reception for individuals arriving late - after the reception is closed.
